Alessandra Ciappa

Alessandra Ciappa is a highly experienced professional in the fields of research and development (R&D) and quality assurance (QA), currently serving as the R&D and QA Manager at Nano-Tech SpA since February 2023. Prior to this role, Alessandra held positions as R&D Manager at Angeloni Group - Impregnatex from September 2019 to January 2023, focusing on the development of CFRP materials and prepregs, and as R&D Manager at Nano-Tech SpA for several months in early 2019, where the emphasis was on nanoengineered advanced materials. Previous roles include R&D Core Materials Engineer at Arpa Industriale, Head of R&D at Delta-Tech SpA overseeing thermosetting resins for various applications, Senior Researcher at CIVEN-Nanofab developing nanostructured materials, Researcher at Nicos International SpA creating new polymeric materials, and Post-doc at Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia working on asymmetric catalysis for synthesizing fragrances. Alessandra holds a PhD in Chemistry from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and a degree in Chemistry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
