Manna Doud (Iwabuchi)

Associate Director of Systems Engineering at NanoCellect Biomedical

Manna Doud (Iwabuchi) has a diverse work history, beginning with a role as a Translator at Minamimuki Translation, Ltd. from 2007 to 2009. During this time, they were responsible for translating medical field books, as well as providing assistance with translation and research for marketing research, corporate information, quality control, and books of literature and non-fiction. From 2009 to 2011, they held the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant at San Diego State University, where they taught general chemistry and advanced instrumental chemistry, and was responsible for lab safety, trouble-shooting instruments, purchasing equipment, and chemical preparation. During this same time, they were also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, San Diego, where they taught general chemistry problem solving and prepared lectures and course materials. From 2015 to the present, they have held various roles at NanoCellect Biomedical, Inc., including Associate Director of Systems Engineering, Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer, Optical Engineer, and Scientist. As Scientist, they focus on improving their instruments for customers.

Manna Doud (Iwabuchi) completed a B.A. in Chemistry from International Christian University in 2007. Manna then attended San Diego State University from 2009 to 2015, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Manna also attended UC San Diego from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
