Gabriela Ecco

Gabriela Ecco is currently employed at +ND Capital as a Senior Associate, bringing with their extensive experience in genomics research and product development for precision medicine and molecular diagnostics. Prior to this role, Gabriela worked at SOPHiA GENETICS where Gabriela held various positions including Genomics Research Expert and Senior NGS Scientist. Gabriela's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and a PhD in Biotechnology and Bioengineering from EPFL. Their research interests have led their to work on projects in protein biochemistry, functional genomics, and tissue engineering.
