Allisa Song

Founder and CEO at Nanodropper

Allisa Song has been involved in a number of entrepreneurial ventures in their career. In 2011, they began their career as a Research Scientist and Lab Manager, as well as an Undergraduate Researcher, at the University of Washington. In 2014, they co-founded and became the CEO of Tape-It-Easy LLC, a company that streamlines drip tape installation to remove barriers to adoption, saving money for customers and water for the planet. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of Nanodropper, Inc., a commercial-stage medical device company offering high-value solutions to adherence barriers in eye disease management. Her flagship product, the Nanodropper Adaptor, solves the problem of oversized eyedrops and reduces the droplet to the appropriate volume, reducing financial barriers and improving access to vision-saving medications.

Allisa Song began their educational journey at Henry M. Gunn High School, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. Allisa then attended the University of Washington, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology between 2010 and 2015. Finally, they are currently attending Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).
