Frsc Christian Jones

Christian Jones, FRSC, has a diverse work experience spanning over 19 years in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Christian'smost recent position was as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Nanoform, an innovative nanoparticle medicine enabling company. In this role, Jones collaborated with pharma and biotech partners globally, focusing on reducing clinical attrition and enhancing drug molecules' performance through nanoforming technologies and formulation services. Prior to Nanoform, Jones served as the Commercial Director for API and Intermediate Development and Manufacturing at Johnson Matthey, where they had global commercial responsibility for the Solid State Science, Crystallisation, and Particle Engineering - Pharmorphix offering. Christian also held various roles at Dr. Reddy's Custom Pharma Services (CPS), including Head of Asia Pacific, Sales and Business Development, Associate Director, Sales and Business Development Europe, and Manager, Sales and Business Development Europe. Additionally, Jones served as the Global Business Development Manager at Prosonix Ltd, where they played a pivotal role in establishing the Prosonix brand and technology in the worldwide pharmaceutical industry, leading to the company's acquisition by Circassia. Earlier in their career, Jones worked at Tripos as a Marketing Associate and Process Chemist, and at GlaxoSmithKline as an Industrial Placement Process Chemist during a one-year placement. Overall, Jones has demonstrated expertise in commercial leadership, business development, sales, and marketing in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

Christian Jones, FRSC, completed a MChem degree in Chemistry from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In March 2021, they were awarded the prestigious certification of Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
