Mauricio Roche

Mauricio Roche is an experienced production engineer currently working at Nanoform since February 2021, where the primary responsibility involves developing the quality management system through continuous improvement and production process evaluation. Previously, Mauricio served as a research analyst at Åbo Akademi from January 2016 to February 2021, contributing to four peer-reviewed journal publications and two conference papers by developing predictive models in Matlab for the ironmaking process. An internship at Tata Steel in Europe in 2017 provided valuable insights into production data analysis and its impact on R&D and manufacturing. Additionally, prior roles included technology transfer engineer at Grupo Farma, a conference assistant at Warwick Conferences, and a project management intern at PETRÓLEOS DE VENEZUELA, S.A. LTD. Mauricio holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Åbo Akademi University, alongside a Master’s in Process Industry Business Management from the University of Warwick and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
