José Manuel Ageitos

José Manuel Ageitos is a seasoned professional in biotechnology and microbiology with substantial experience in both academic research and industry applications. Currently serving as a Químico at NANOGAP since March 2023, Ageitos previously held a posdoctoral research investigator position at CiQUS from April 2021 to February 2023. Earlier roles include postdoctoral research scientist and scientific collaborator at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, and extensive research at RIKEN's Enzyme Research team focusing on functional enzymes and biopolymer synthesis from September 2012 to August 2015. Ageitos holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Santiago de Compostela, complemented by multiple degrees in biology and advanced studies in biotechnology.
