Lidia Goyos Ball

Lidia Goyos Ball has had a diverse work experience in various research and engineering roles. Lidia started their career as a Process Engineer at Axion Recycling Ltd. in 2008. After that, they worked as a JAE Predoctoral Researcher at Centro de Investigación en Nanomateriales y Nanotecnología (CINN) (CSIC-UNIOVI-Principado Asturias) from 2011 to 2015. Lidia then joined Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Center (CINN) as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist for a brief period in 2016. Lidia also worked as a Project & Product Manager at Nanoker Research SL from 2016 until their most recent role as a Project Manager at Fundación General CSIC in 2023.

Lidia Goyos Ball obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with Industrial Experience from The University of Manchester, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Lidia then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London from 2010 to 2011. Following that, Lidia attended Universidad de Oviedo from 2011 to 2015, where they earned their PhD in (Bio)Materials Science.

In 2020, Lidia enrolled in Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and completed the Experto en Gestión de Productos Sanitarios program as part of the Programa de Postgrado de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, IEN Escuela de Negocios UPM.

Apart from their academic background, Lidia Goyos Ball holds additional certifications. In 2020, they obtained ThePowerMBA certification from ThePowerMBA institution. Lidia also obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from the University of Cambridge in 2005.
