Keita Funakawa

Keita Funakawa has a long and varied work experience. Keita started their career in 2010 as a Grip at Hawaii News Now. In 2012, they took on the role of Executive Producer at Triton Television, Photographer at Qualcomm Institute, and Sports Photographer/ Motion Graphics Designer at ScoringLive. In 2013, they worked as a Video Editor/ Camera Operator at Label Creative. In 2014, they were a Filmatic Curitorial and Video Production Assistant at ArtPower at UC San Diego. In 2015, they took on the roles of CFO and Product Manager and Lead Artist at nanoVR. Finally, in 2016, they became the COO at Nanome Inc.

Keita Funakawa obtained their Bachelor's Degree from UC San Diego in 2016, majoring in Management Science (Quantitative Economics) and minoring in Visual Arts Media (Digital/Film Prod.). Prior to that, they attended Mid-Pacific Institute from 2006 to 2012 and graduated from high school there.
