Gianna Mauro

Gianna Mauro has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position was at Nanometrics Inc, where they served as the Manager of Cloud Software Development and Operations starting in April 2023.

Prior to that, Gianna worked at Momentive-AI as an Engineering Manager from March 2020 to March 2023. In this role, they led a team in delivering agile experience management solutions to global organizations.

From November 2017 to March 2020, Gianna worked at Klipfolio as a Software Development Manager. Gianna was responsible for taking a data modeling tool from prototype to release and launching a feature that allowed for templated dashboard metrics. Additionally, they managed API changes from external services.

Gianna also held the position of Senior Developer at Klipfolio from July 2016 to November 2017. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing product features, adding hidden debugging features, and providing training to new team members.

Gianna began their career as a Software Developer/Tester Co-op at Natural Resources Canada.

Gianna Mauro completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with Honours in Computer Science, specializing in Information Management Systems, from the University of Ottawa. Gianna attended the university from 1998 to 2002, being a part of the co-op program. Furthermore, in March 2023, Gianna obtained certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
