Matthew Lansbergen started their work experience in 2000 at Newbridge Networks as an Electronics Technologist, where they tested and debugged various telecommunications equipment in the customer return center. Matthew then joined Nanometrics Seismological Instruments in 2001 as an Electronics Technologist, working on testing and debugging seismic detection equipment. In 2005, they became the Production Team Lead - Sensors at Nanometrics, responsible for leading the production team. Later, they transitioned into the role of Manufacturing Engineer, where they developed and maintained production tests, designed and tested Seismometers, and worked on LabView development.
Matthew Lansbergen completed their education in the field of computer science at Athabasca University from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in electrical, electronic, and communications engineering technology/technician at Mohawk College from 1996 to 2000, earning the degree of Technologist.
