Systems Engineering at Nanometrics Inc

Tarun Philip has a wide range of work experience in the field of seismology and engineering. Tarun worked at Nanometrics Inc from 2016 to present as a Systems Engineering Specialist, Senior Technical Analyst, and Geophysical Data Analyst, where they were involved in deploying seismic monitoring systems, conducting earthquake-related analysis, and working alongside geophysicists to develop data processing techniques.

Prior to that, Tarun worked at Toronto Inspection Ltd. as a Geotechnical Technician in 2015, where they conducted field work related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and borehole drilling for geotechnical investigations.

In the summers of 2014 and 2013, Tarun worked as an Engineering Student at the York Region Rapid Transit Corporation (vivaNext), gaining valuable experience assisting municipal project engineers with budgeting, planning, and coordinating design activities for the Vivanext BRT projects in the Greater Toronto Area

From 2011 to 2014 Tarun studied Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa. In 2014 he transferred to the Faculty of Science and subsequently completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Mathematics.
