Alok Kumar

Alok Kumar is a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in deep learning and automated systems, currently working at Nanonets since 2020. Previously, Alok Kumar held a position at Quantiphi, Inc. from May 2018 to January 2020, where responsibilities included developing a deep learning-based automated face recognition model, utilizing BigQuery for data processing, and implementing human action detection in videos. Alok Kumar also designed a hierarchical machine learning model for apparel detection and created a workflow to visualize training metrics using Kafka. Earlier experience includes an internship at Minance.com in 2017, focusing on mutual fund risk analysis and algorithmic trading. Alok Kumar earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2018.
