Neel Jambhekar

Neel Jambhekar is a Machine Learning Engineer at Nanonets since November 2021, specializing in OCR, Transformers, LLMs, and Kubernetes, with a focus on delivering Gen AI solutions for customers. Previously, Neel served as a Mentor at Preplaced, a Data Scientist II at Ericsson within the Global AI Accelerator program, and a Data Scientist at Belong.co, where data science capabilities were developed. Early career experiences include internships at the Centre for Modeling and Simulation, University of Pune, working on protein datasets, and at National Aluminium Company Limited as a Summer Trainee. Neel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, completed in 2018.
