Matthew Jong, CET

Matthew Jong, CET has worked in the field of condition monitoring and machine diagnostics since 2005. Matthew began their career as an Open Hole Wireline Supervisor at Tucker Energy Services, Inc. and a Measuring While Drilling Supervisor at Halliburton. In 2007, they joined Schaeffler Canada as a Vibration Analyst / Condition Monitoring Field Service, where they collected and analyzed dynamic vibration data from rotating equipment, with a special focus on wind turbine vibration analysis. Matthew also served as a Technical Sales Representative. In 2010, they became the Director at Meliora Concepts Inc. From 2013 to 2022, they were the Manager - Machine Diagnostics & Condition Monitoring Systems at Primac Reliability Consultants Ltd., where they were a Rotating Equipment / Condition Monitoring Specialist focusing on machine diagnostics, machine health monitoring, and development of condition monitoring programs. Matthew also managed technical reporting quality control through senior review and mentoring for the organization. Currently, they are the Global Condition Monitoring & CS Manager at Nanoprecise Sci Corp.

Matthew Jong holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), which they obtained between 2003 and 2005.
