Caleb Daugherty

Lead Electrical Engineer at NanoRacks

Caleb Daugherty has a diverse work experience. Caleb started working as an Electrical and Environmental Systems Craftsman in the United States Air Force in 2000, where they conducted maintenance on various aircraft and supervised junior mechanics. After leaving the Air Force in 2006, Caleb worked as a Lead Mechanic at FEAM Maintenance/Engineering, where they led a team of mechanics and performed line maintenance on Boeing wide body aircraft. In 2009, they joined the Texas Air National Guard as an Avionics Technician, responsible for avionics maintenance until 2015. Caleb then worked at Mesa Airlines, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Inspector, ensuring compliance with maintenance instructions and reviewing documentation. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Research Intern at the Center for Theoretical Biological Physics. Currently, Caleb is employed as a Lead Electrical Engineer at Nanoracks LLC, where they design and develops payload interface hardware for the International Space Station and builds payloads for customers.

Caleb Daugherty completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mathematics from San Jacinto College in 2015. Caleb later attended the University of Houston from 2015 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics.
