Nozhat Choudry

Nozhat Choudry PhD has extensive experience in clinical development and medical affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Clinical Development at Nanoscope Therapeutics Inc. since January 2024. Previously, Nozhat held various senior leadership roles at Santen, including Senior Director of Global Alliances & External Research and Global Clinical Scientist, and served as Medical Director for Canada. At Biogen and InterMune, Nozhat held the position of Medical Director, contributing to the successful development and market launch of Esbreit, a breakthrough treatment for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Nozhat's earlier career includes pivotal roles at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where the medical department was established, and OccuLogix, Inc., where strategic clinical initiatives enhanced organizational growth. Nozhat began the professional journey at Boehringer Ingelheim, managing Medical Affairs. Nozhat Choudry holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from Imperial College London Royal Postgraduate Medical School.
