Mark Gregory

Mark Gregory is a Senior Data Scientist at NanoString Technologies, Inc. since May 2021, where responsibilities include the development and maintenance of spatial biology analysis pipelines for the CosMx early Technology Access Program. Previously, Mark held the position of Scientist II at NanoString Technologies from October 2016 to October 2019, leading a chemistry team to develop solutions for the Hyb & Seq NGS sequencing platform. Mark's experience also encompasses a role as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, focusing on novel NGS technology development, and as a Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where research involved DNA Polymerase Eta and a novel chemotherapeutic agent. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Cell, Molecular, Developmental Biology, and Biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Arizona.
