Konstantin Tikhonov

Konstantin Tikhonov is a seasoned expert in battery research and development, currently serving as the Director Of Battery R&D at Nanotech Energy since February 2024. Previously, Konstantin held the role of Head of Engineering at Anthro, focusing on scaling up lithium battery manufacturing. As the VP of R&D at Imprint Energy from February 2018 to August 2023, Konstantin managed technology roadmaps and production activities for thin flexible zinc batteries. Other notable positions include VP of R&D at EOCell, where Konstantin specified manufacturing lines for silicon anode materials, and CTO at OCSiAl ENERGY, leading the adoption of single-walled carbon nanotubes in energy storage. Konstantin's extensive background also includes roles at OCSiAl Group, A123 Systems, Leyden Energy, and Electrochem / Greatbatch, with significant contributions to technology transfer, market strategy, and product development across various battery technologies. Konstantin holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and an MS in Industrial Electrochemistry from the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Technology.
