Ahmad Sohangar

Ahmad Sohangar is a seasoned entrepreneur and engineer with extensive experience in the machinery and technology sectors. As the Co-founder and CEO of NanoTech Innovation Inc. since February 2021, Ahmad focuses on innovative solutions for corrosion management. Previously, Ahmad held the position of Scientific Researcher at entrepreneurship@UBC, contributing to the venture creation efforts of UBC from February 2021 to July 2023. A former Managing Director at Madan Machine Co. (2014-2019) and Co-Founder and Managing Director at Tirage Machine (2004-2014), Ahmad specializes in construction and mining machinery. Additional roles include Vice President at the Iranian Association of Importers and Manufacturers of Heavy Machinery and Managing Director at Akebono Boeki Co. Ltd. Ahmad's academic credentials include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University and further education from The University of British Columbia.
