Aloysius Hepp

Chief Technologist at Nanotech Innovations

Aloysius Hepp has a diverse work experience. Aloysius started their career at CNA as a Defense Analyst in 1984. Aloysius then moved on to Polaroid in 1985, where they worked as a Scientist for two years. In 1987, they joined NASA Glenn Research Center as a Senior Scientist and worked there until December 2016. During this time, they also served as an Adjunct Faculty at Cleveland State University from 1988 to 2005. In 1998, they became an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Baldwin Wallace University and worked there until 2009. In 2010, they joined Nanotech Innovations, LLC as the Chief Technologist. In 2016, they retired as the Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing (MSSP) at Elsevier.

Aloysius Hepp's education history includes several notable achievements. Aloysius attended Old Saybrook Senior High School from 1970 to 1972, where they pursued a college/university preparatory and advanced high school/secondary diploma program. Aloysius transferred to Moon Senior High School in 1972 and completed their diploma program, graduating with a high school degree. Moving forward, they enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University from 1974 to 1978, majoring in Chemistry and earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Aloysius continued their academic journey at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1978 to 1983, focusing on inorganic chemistry. Aloysius successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from MIT.
