Jeffrey Lopata has extensive work experience in process engineering and manufacturing. Jeffrey currently holds the position of Senior Manager, Manufacturing Sciences & Technology at Sarepta Therapeutics since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Process Engineer at Nantero starting in May 2017. Jeffrey also served as a Principal Process Engineer at DPS Group Global from January 2019 to May 2021.

Jeffrey Lopata obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, completing it in the years 1985 to 1988. Building upon their academic achievements, Jeffrey then went on to earn their PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, a program they undertook from 1988 to 1992.
