Ryan Secan

Ryan Secan is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in hospital medicine and medical informatics. Serving as Chief Medical Officer at MedAptus since August 2011, Ryan also provides clinical care as a Hospitalist at Nantucket Cottage Hospital and Emerson Hospital, both roles ongoing since 2015 and 2009, respectively. Prior to these positions, Ryan was the Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program at Lowell General Hospital and Anna Jaques Hospital. Educational achievements include an MPH in Clinical Effectiveness from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, an MD from the University of South Florida, and a BA in Biology and Philosophy from the University of Rochester.
