Oliver Harris

MEMS Engineer at Nanusens

Oliver Harris has a wealth of experience in the engineering and physics fields. Oliver started their career in 2006 as a private tutor. In 2009, they became an Operational Research Analyst at the Export Credits Guarantee Department. In 2011, they joined ASML as an Optical Engineer, where they worked on interferometers for EUV photolithography machines and control and feedback systems for high-power, high-precision infrared lasers. In 2013, they moved to ABSL Space Products as an Applied Physicist, where their responsibilities included producing documentation of technical work and managing expectations in a complex client chain. In 2015, they became a Senior Development Engineer at ADVANCED FIBREOPTIC ENGINEERING LIMITED. In 2016, they joined Lumentum as a Senior Engineer, Optical Design, where they were focused on R&D, debugging design and production problems, testing new products, analysing production data and creating reports for internal and external customers. Oliver is currently working as a MEMS Engineer at Nanusens.

Oliver Harris received their Master in Science (MSci) in Theoretical Physics from UCL in 2003, after studying there from 1999-2003. Oliver then continued their studies at UCL, graduating with a Master of Philosophy - MPhil in Elementary Particle Physics in 2008.
