Melvin Puah

Melvin Puah is a Course Coordinator at Nanyang Polytechnic, overseeing the Diploma in AI & Data Engineering since June 2018, and played a key role in its conceptualization and launch. As a Lecturer, Melvin co-leads the Engineering Exploration Project for the first-year engineering cohort, integrating Design Thinking and Problem-Based Learning methodologies. In the role of Development Engineer at the APEX 5G Center, Melvin collaborates with external partners to develop IoT solutions leveraging 5G technology for various industries. Additionally, Melvin serves as a Volunteer Associate Assessor for Business Excellence at Enterprise Singapore, where assessments are conducted for organizations seeking the Singapore Quality Class Award. Melvin's educational background includes a Master of Science in Industry 4.0 from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, among other qualifications.
