May Lwin is an esteemed academic serving as the President's Chair Professor of Communication Studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where additional roles include Joint Professor at the LKC School of Medicine, Director of the University Scholar Programme, and Associate Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences since December 2005. In 2021, May Lwin took on the role of Visiting Advisor at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases.
