Peter Preiser

Peter Preiser is a distinguished academic and research leader currently serving as Co-Founder at Thrixen since December 2020. At Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Peter holds multiple significant positions, including President’s Chair in Biological Sciences, Professor, and Associate Vice President for Biomedical and Life Sciences, where responsibilities include developing a comprehensive strategy for infrastructure and partnerships in the field. Previous roles at NTU include Interim Dean of the College of Sciences, Director of the Integrated Medical, Biological and Environmental Life Sciences initiative, and Chair of the School of Biological Sciences. Peter began an academic career at NIMR as a Research Scientist, focusing on malaria parasite research, following postdoctoral work at Worcester Foundation and NIMR. Peter holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution.
