Wee Seng Lim

Wee Seng LIM has extensive experience in the fields of research, development, and engineering management. As Executive Director at the Satellite Research Centre of Nanyang Technological University since January 2013, Wee Seng LIM oversees R&D, satellite operations, and financial management while collaborating with international organizations and universities. Prior to this role, Wee Seng LIM worked as a Consultant, where services included the development of Singapore's first design nano-satellite and providing turnkey solutions for embedded systems. Previous positions include Senior Manager at Renesas, focusing on business development and product marketing for the MCU division, as well as Assistant Design Manager at Hitachi Micro System Asia, leading the creation of emulators for MCUs. Early in the career, Wee Seng LIM was a Technical Specialist at Hewlett-Packard, supporting automated assembly operations. Academically, Wee Seng LIM holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Management, a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and a diploma in Electronic Engineering.
