Ashley Cox

Ashley Cox has work experience as an Education Specialist starting in 2013 at the Pittsburg Unified School District, where they taught a Service Specific Class for students with disabilities. Their responsibilities included teaching core classes and a Life Skills elective, focusing on functional academics and adaptive living skills. Their students had a range of disabilities including speech and language impairments, specific learning disabilities, and other health impairments. Ashley later joined the Napa Valley Unified School District in 2016 as an Education Specialist.

Ashley Cox pursued their education at the University of California, Berkeley from 2004 to 2008, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History of Art. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the University of San Francisco between 2013 and 2015, earning a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching.
