Kimberly K. started their work experience in 1997 as a ParaEducator at Solano County, where they assisted teachers in operating classrooms, developing lesson materials, and providing individualized support to students. In 2014, they joined Napa Valley Unified School District where they held various roles, including Site Technology Specialist II, Associate Information Specialist, Business Process Analyst, and currently, Network Analyst. As a Site Technology Specialist II, they supervised and provided technical support to school sites, managed the technology help desk, and acted as a liaison between the school and the Technology Department.

Kimberly K. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Solano Community College from 1998 to 2002, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Networking.

In addition to their degrees, Kimberly K. has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they received the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert, and the CompTIA Project+ certification from CompTIA.
