Kimberly Olson has worked in various roles and positions throughout their career. In 2005, they started working at Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics as a Business Development Manager, where they played a key role in sales and public relations. Kimberly developed relationships with medical professionals, delivered training, and provided information for continuing education. Kimberly contributed to the growth of the company's territory in a $60 million annual market. In 2013, they began working at the Napa Valley Unified School District as a Resource Specialist Teacher at Phillips Charter School, and later as a Moderate Disability Specialist and Assistive Technology Library Facilitator. In 2016, they took on additional roles as a Teacher of High School Subjects and English as a Second Language at the Napa Valley Adult Education and as a Post Secondary Transition Teacher for Student Vocational Services at Valley Oak High School. Continuing their academic journey, Olson enrolled in Northcentral University in 2016 and is currently working towards earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education. Kimberly'sexpected graduation date is 2023.

In terms of certifications, Kimberly Olson holds an Intern Teaching Credential, which they obtained in August 2014. Kimberly also possesses a 30 Day Emergency Teaching Credential from CTC, obtained in August 2012. Additionally, they have a California Teacher certification in Special Education.
