Catherine Bugue

Catherine Bugue has worked in the wine industry since 2005. Catherine started as the Director of Publishing Projects at Karen MacNeil & Company in 2005. Catherine then moved to Balzac Communications and Marketing in 2008, where they were a Senior Executive Account Manager. Also in 2008, they began writing for the St. Helena Star Napa Valley Vintner Tasting Panel. In 2013, they became the Owner and Director of Education at the Napa Valley Wine Academy.

Catherine Bugue obtained their Certified Instructor degree in Italian Wine Studies from Italian Wine Professional in 2015. From 2007 to 2009, they completed the Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diploma Program, earning an AIWS in wine and spirits. Catherine also holds an American Wine Expert certification from the Napa Valley Wine Academy in American Wines.
