Csilla Kato

Csilla Kato is an experienced wine educator and winemaker with a robust background in the industry. Since February 2014, Csilla has been an Instructor and Academic Coordinator at Napa Valley Wine Academy, teaching various wine courses and educating students on viticulture and winemaking. Previous roles include Assistant Winemaker at Schramsberg Vineyards and Stags' Leap Winery, where Csilla managed winemaking activities and supervised staff. Additionally, Csilla has contributed to several vineyards and wineries in various capacities, including Harvest Winemaker at The Prisoner Wine Company and Associate Winemaker at Beringer Vineyards. Csilla holds a Diploma in Wine from WSET and a Master of Science in Fermentation Science from St Stephan University in Budapest, Hungary.
