Laura Tamayo, DipWSET, is a highly experienced wine and beverage professional currently serving as a Wine & Spirit Education Trust Instructor at Napa Valley Wine Academy since July 2021. With a diverse background that includes roles such as Manager and Wine Consultant at The Cork Room, General Manager and Sommelier at Hopkins and Company, and Food and Beverage Manager at Fenway Hotel, Laura has developed a strong expertise in wine education, retail sales, and beverage program development. Prior experiences also include owning a successful wine bar and bistro, alongside various key positions in sales and bartending. Laura's education was completed at California State University, Long Beach.
