Edgar Chen serves as Special Policy Advisor at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the largest AANHPI membership organization in the United States, guiding policy development to support strategic goals and amplify the voice of AAPI legal professionals. With extensive experience spanning various federal agencies, Chen has provided legal guidance at the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, focusing on congressional oversight and policy implementation. Previous roles at the U.S. Department of Justice included advising on criminal justice issues and representing the government in international legal matters. Chen holds an AB in History with Honors from Princeton University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
