Mary Newman

Mary Newman is an accomplished director with extensive experience in healthcare and public service management. Currently serving as a Director at Urban IQ Ltd. and a trustee for Self Management UK and NAPAC, Mary has held various significant roles including Non Executive Director, Acting Chair, and Director of Secretariat at Dixon investigation. Prior positions include Interim Director at GIRFT and NHS Improvement, Director of Quality and Assurance at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, and Head of Clinical Strategies at the Department of Health. Mary has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, quality assurance, and operational improvement within healthcare systems. An alumnus of University of Oxford, Mary holds a Master’s degree in Oriental Studies, specializing in Egyptology.
