Soeren Poulsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In 1990, they worked as a Software Test Engineer at Ericsson Telecom AB, where they gained fundamental knowledge of programming and software testing. Soeren then moved to Dancall Telecom A/S in 1994, where they served as a Soft- & Hardware Test Engineer. Here, they developed and implemented programs for automatic testing during mass production of mobile phones. Soeren also introduced and implemented Reliability/Environmental Stress Screening (RSS/ESS). From 1997 to 2002, Soeren worked as a Software Test Engineer at Ericsson Denmark A/S, analyzing software modules and planning and executing test projects for digital exchanges. Soeren played a key role in developing and maintaining an emulated/simulated environment for test development, reducing the number of physical exchanges needed for testing. In 2003, they joined Tellabs Denmark A/S as a Software Test Engineer, responsible for designing test cases and executing them for new transmission modules and Network Manager software. At Anritsu Denmark A/S, Soeren held various roles from 2004 to 2014, including Technical Coordinator, System Engineer, and Customer Support Engineer. Currently, Soeren is a SW Test & Verification Engineer at Napatech, where they develop and manufactures gigabit Ethernet adapters. The adapters are used as plugin PCIe cards in servers and PCs for various functions.
Soeren Poulsen completed their high school education at Gymnasium in Odense from 1981 to 1984, where they studied Mathematics and Physics. Soeren then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics Engineering with a specialization in device technology at SDU/University of Odense from 1984 to 1989.
