Darrell Blenniss

Darrell Blenniss is the current Director of Public Utilities, Water for the City of Naperville. Darrell has over two decades of experience in municipal management, including stints as Executive Director for Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency and City Manager for Danville, Kentucky. Darrell's previous positions also include Assistant Village Manager for Grayslake, Illinois and Administrative Intern for the City of Dublin, Ohio.

Darrell Blenniss holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University with a concentration in Local Government Administration. Darrell also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Louisville. Darrell is certified by Real Python in Intro to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in Python and Running Python Scripts.

Their manager is Steve Chirico, Mayor. They are on a team with Marcie Schatz - Deputy City Manager, Geneace Williams - Diversity Equity & Inclusion Manager, and Jackie Nguyen - Director, Information Technology.
