Raheel Arshed has a diverse work experience in the field of utility engineering. Raheel started their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Brownsville Public Utilities Board in 2007.

In 2008, Raheel joined the City of Naperville and took on various roles within the organization. Raheel began as a SCADA Electrical Engineer in the Substation Engineering department, where they were responsible for upgrading and integrating new technologies into the SCADA system to enhance control room visibility.

In 2014, Raheel was promoted to the position of SCADA Electrical Engineer II, where they continued to manage the SCADA system and also took on the role of designing and implementing substation SCADA projects.

In 2015, Raheel moved to the role of Senior Electrical Engineer in the Advanced Metering and Technical Services department. Raheel led a team of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining the utility's advanced metering infrastructure and meter data management systems.

In 2016, Raheel was promoted to Senior Electrical Engineer in the Utility Technology Systems department. Raheel supervised a team of engineers and technicians, overseeing the utility's metering engineering and operations, including the development of advanced metering infrastructure and meter exchange management systems.

Raheel'smost recent role at the City of Naperville is as the Manager of the Utility AMI department, which they began in September 2019. In this position, Raheel manages projects, budgeting, and engineering design for the operation, maintenance, and security of the electrical utility's automated customer metering systems, energy data management, and utility applications. Raheel is also responsible for the electric utility's metering engineering and operations, including the development of advanced metering infrastructure and meter data management systems.

Raheel Arshed completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University in 2007.
