Raymond Munch

Raymond Munch has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Raymond began their career working as a Community Service Officer for the Village of Plainfield in 1999. In 2002, they transitioned to the Village of Glen Ellyn, where they served as a Police Officer for over a decade. In 2013, Raymond joined Waubonsie Valley High School as a Deans' Assistant.

In 2014, they joined the Village of Carol Stream as a Crime Free Housing Coordinator, a role they held until 2017. Raymond then moved on to the City of DeKalb, Illinois, where they took on various positions, including Management Intern, Management Analyst, Interim Assistant City Manager, and eventually Assistant City Manager.

Most recently, in 2020, Raymond joined the City of Naperville as the Budget Manager. Raymond was later promoted to the position of Deputy Finance Director. Their work experiences have provided him with a strong background in finance, management, and public administration.

Raymond became a CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) Specialist through the American Crime Prevention Institute in 2015. In 2012, they completed the Crisis Intervention Team training provided by the IL Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board. Raymond also obtained certifications in Supervision of Police Personnel (2008), Crash Reconstruction Specialist (2005), Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (2004), Field Training Officer (2004), and Certified Peace Officer (2002), all from the IL Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
