Danica Rio serves as a Senior Advisor in Corporate Planning at Napier City Council since August 2022 and previously held the position of Corporate Planning Analyst. Prior experience includes roles as a Risk & Compliance Advisor at Unity, CX Accounting Specialist and CX Banking Specialist at Xero, and Student Mentor at Massey University. Danica began a career in customer service at Palmerston North City Council and Kiwibank, where positions included Customer Service Representative and Online Relationship Manager & Migrant Banker. Danica holds a Bachelor of Business in Finance and Accounting from Massey University and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Planning at the same institution.
