Russell Bond is an experienced professional in infrastructure services, currently serving as the Executive Director Infrastructure Services at Napier City Council since January 2020. In this role, Russell manages a wide range of municipal infrastructure and services, ensuring compliance with legislation while focusing on operational and long-term planning. Russell has held various leadership positions, including Water Strategy Manager and Primary Local Controller, and has contributed to significant capital works programs for water management. Russell's prior experience includes roles at the Department of Internal Affairs, Water Management & Design, and multiple councils in New Zealand, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering Technology from The University of Waikato and leadership training through SOLGM.
