Rhys Watkins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the hospitality and consulting industries. Rhys currently serves as an Operating Partner at Avenir Hospitality, an investment platform focused on boutique assets in leisure markets. Prior to this, Rhys held the position of VP at The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. Rhys also interned as an MBA intern at Hersha Hospitality Management, where they gained experience in underwriting hotel acquisitions. Before venturing into the hospitality sector, Rhys worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate, where they were responsible for designing complex models for government clients in the national security industry. Rhys held positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Consultant and Consultant.
Rhys Watkins pursued their education at Williams College from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics. In 2018, they enrolled in The Wharton School to pursue an MBA and completed the program in 2020.
