Roman Kormishev has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Roman began their career as an Energy Accounting Engineer at Nizhnovenergo from 2002 to 2005. Roman then transitioned into the tech industry, starting as a Software Developer at MERA from 2005 to 2008. Roman continued to work at MERA in various roles, including Team Leader from 2008 to 2011 and Project Manager from 2011 to 2015.

In 2015, Roman joined a new company as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for the maintenance of a Unified Communication System for big enterprise customers. Roman also worked on outsourcing sustain projects for the industry leader.

Roman returned to MERA in 2015 as a Project Manager, leading a team in the development of Linux based IP Deskphones. Roman managed the adaptation of software to new hardware and successfully handled crisis management during the final stages of the project.

From 2016 to 2018, Roman continued to work as a Project Manager at MERA, overseeing projects such as the development and release of a parking Android BSP project and the development of automation test frameworks for a customer.

In 2018, Roman took on a new role as a Project Delivery Manager at MERA, where they led the development and maintenance of Linux based IP Deskphones and DECT phones for a renowned Japan brand. Roman was responsible for SDK updates, SW architecture analysis, and code refactoring to improve UI performance. Roman also managed the development of new phone versions and the creation of automation test frameworks.

In 2021, Roman joined Emergn as a Project Delivery Manager, where they were involved in the development of client web portals for insurance service providers. Roman acted as a scrum-master and delivery manager, successfully completing an Angular migration project for a client.

Most recently, in 2022, Roman started working as a Portfolio Delivery Manager at Napoleon IT, where they are currently employed.

Roman Kormishev completed their education at Nizhniy Novgorod State Technical University named after R.Y. Alekseev (NSTU). From 1995 to 2001, they pursued a Master's degree in Electricity supply of industrial enterprises and cities. This was followed by an Engineer's degree in Information systems (in technology) from 2001 to 2004 at the same university. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in VFQ Foundations from Emergn in October 2021.
