Andrew Holden began their work experience in 2001 as a Recruitment Consultant for Reality Group, where they were responsible for interviewing and managing temporary staff. Andrew also implemented database and invoicing systems and ensured compliance with employment legislation. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Trainee Solicitor at Sawle and Co. Then, from 2005 to 2006, they served as a Solicitor at Inghams, focusing on residential and commercial conveyancing, private client matters, wills, probate, and landlord-tenant issues. In 2006, Holden joined Napthens LLP as a Senior Associate Solicitor, progressing to the role of Partner and Head of Rural Business in 2014.

Andrew Holden completed their primary education at St Cecilia's RC High in Preston from 1991 to 1996, achieving 10 GCSE grades A. Andrew then pursued a Combined Honors Degree in Law with Business Information Systems at Cardinal Newman College in Preston from 1996 to 1998. Andrew continued their education at the University of Central Lancashire, where they obtained a BA (Hons) in Law with Business Information Systems from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies at the University of Central Lancashire in 2003.
