Varun Singh has extensive work experience in various marketing and corporate affairs roles. Varun started their career in 2006 as a Territory Manager at Reliance Communications, where they were responsible for prepaid business in the North and Central Delhi territory. Varun then joined HDFC Bank as a Deputy Manager in Retail Assets before moving on to Dynamic Shells (India) as a Marketing Manager, where they played a key role in client relationship management and the implementation of new strategies.

In 2009, Varun joined VCK Share & Stock Broking Services Ltd as a Brand Manager, overseeing marketing activities across all regions. Varun then joined Mahindra Holidays & Resort India Limited as a Marketing Manager, focusing on sales-driven marketing activities in the East and Northeast regions.

From 2013 to 2014, Varun worked as a Cluster Business Head at Citrus Check Inns, where they were responsible for sales and marketing in East India, with a focus on overall business growth and profitability.

Varun's most recent work experience includes multiple roles at Narayana Health. Varun joined the company in 2014 as a Manager in Marketing & Corporate Affairs for Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, and was later promoted to Senior Manager and then AGM in the same department. In these roles, they focused on brand awareness, ATL and BTL promotions, and increasing the hospital's geographical catchment area. Varun also played a key role in establishing the hospital as a hub for oncology treatment in eastern India.

In 2021, Varun moved to Medanta as a DGM in Marketing & Growth, where they played a crucial role in marketing and growth strategies. Currently, they are working as the Marketing Lead of the Kolkata Cluster at Narayana Health, a position they started in 2023.

Throughout their career, Varun has displayed a strong background in marketing, branding, and corporate affairs, with a focus on achieving business objectives and ensuring the overall growth and success of the organizations they have worked for.

Varun Singh's education history begins with their completion of secondary education at St. James' School, where they obtained their ISC degree in Commerce. Varun then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree at St. Xavier's College from 2000 to 2003. Following this, Varun attended Amity University and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a specialization in Marketing & HR from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Varun has also obtained several certifications. In November 2019, they completed the Digital Marketing Certificate Course offered by Simplilearn. In March 2020, they obtained a certification in SARI Treatment Facility Design from the World Health Organization. In December 2020, they obtained The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google. Lastly, Varun acquired a certification in Brand Management, specifically aligning business, brand, and behavior, from the University of London in September 2022.
