Manasa Ashok

Manasa Ashok's work experience includes roles at multiple organizations. In 2020, they worked at The Healing Circle, where they supported curriculum development, assisted with publication and design tasks, and served as a teaching assistant. Starting in 2022, Ashok joined Naropa University, initially as a Student Union Virtual Liaison and later becoming the Student Union Co-Chair. Manasa also acted as a Student Representative on the Presidential Search Committee and worked as a Graduate Assistant in Distance Learning. Additionally, Ashok worked as an Administrative/Support Assistant for the Online Advanced Sacred Parenting Course at Prajna Wisdom Centre. In 2022, they completed an online internship in clinical psychology at Fortis Healthcare.

Manasa Ashok's education history begins with their high school education at the Creative School in Bangalore, India, where they pursued A Level studies in Psychology and Biology, as well as AS Level studies in Marine Science and English. Following this, in 2018, they attended The University of British Columbia for a summer program called Future Global Leaders - Extended Learning, focusing on the field of study called Health Psychology: The Intersection of Psychology and Medicine.

In 2019, Manasa participated in a Summer Academic Experience Course at the University of St Andrews, where they explored Biological and Earth Sciences. Manasa then continued their education at Naropa University from 2020 to 2023, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Contemplative Psychology, specializing in the Transpersonal & Humanistic Concentration, with a minor in Religious Studies.

Finally, Manasa pursued a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology at Naropa University from 2023 to 2026.
