Naropa University
Pınar Sinopoulos-Lloyd is an experienced professional in nature-connection and environmental education, currently serving as a Council Member for Intersectional Environmentalist since July 2020. Pınar has held various roles in educational institutions, including Nature-Connection Immersion Designer and Facilitator for the INVST Program at the University of Colorado Boulder, Immersion Designer and Facilitator at Colorado College, and Adjunct Faculty for Weaving Earth: Center for Relational Education. As a Co-Founder, Creative Director, and Lead Instructor at Queer Nature, Pınar focuses on creating inclusive spaces for earth-based queer communities. Additional experience includes guiding for School of Lost Borders, instructing at Naropa University, and developing LGBTQIA programs with Women's Wilderness Institute. Pınar's educational background includes a Master of Science in Leadership for Sustainability from the University of Vermont, and ongoing studies in Creative Writing at the Institute of American Indian Arts.
