Mona Klausing

Mona Klausing, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the founder of Avani Counseling, a telehealth therapy corporation established in September 2023, offering various therapeutic services throughout California. Since November 2012, Mona has served as Co-Director and Board Member of Narrative Initiatives San Diego, a nonprofit organization providing integrative mental health services in multiple languages. Additionally, Mona is an adjunct faculty member at San Diego State University, teaching in the Marriage & Family Therapy and counseling programs, and has previously held roles in higher education, as well as extensive experience in public relations and marketing with companies such as QUALCOMM and ACTIVE Network. Mona holds a Master's degree in Counseling focused on Marriage & Family Therapy and has received multiple certifications in mental health counseling.
