Valentina Mazzotti-Kostner

Valentina Mazzotti-Kostner has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2008 when they were an Art Gallery Coordinator at Alberto Di Fabio Art Gallery. In 2011, they became a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Tohoku University. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at the University of Maryland as a Graduate Assistant and a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. In 2016, they joined ExxonMobil as an Account Management Specialist and a Customer Service Supervisor. In 2020, they became an Operations Manager at Perfect Wellness Group. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Partner Success Manager at Narrative I/O.

Valentina Mazzotti-Kostner has a diverse educational background. Valentina obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Sapienza Università di Roma in 2005-2009 in East Asian Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. Valentina then earned a Master's Degree from the same institution in 2009-2011 in Arts and Literature of Japan. From 2011-2014, they were a Visiting Researcher at Tohoku University with an Ishibashi Foundation Fellowship. Finally, they completed all post-graduated coursework and earned 21 credits towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Maryland in 2014-2016 in Japanese Modern Art and Criticism. Additionally, Valentina has obtained certifications in Spanish Proficiency Test - Advanced Level from James Cook Languages s.r.o. in 2018 and JLPT - Japanese Language Proficiency Test - 日本語能力試験 N2 from JEES - Japan Educational Exchanges and Services in 2013.
